Library & Documentation Unit

Around 8,000 books (4,000 each in Tamil and English) in the library, are classified under various thematic areas and are made available for students, researchers, and social movement leaders for training and research purposes. From the documentation, one can access (i) news items and (ii) articles collected from various Tamil and English newspapers. E-books and e-documents on social themes are collected, codified, and stored electronically. E-documents titled Ideas Avanam and Media Education materials are emailed to any interested readers. The collection of audio-video materials (short films, and documentary films) serves as resource support for the institute’s training programs.
